You’ve certainly heard ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’-well after the last several months of pure chaos I am convinced that PEACE is in the eye of the BELIEVER! The saga continues to get crazier, but the peace in my heart assures me that God certainly does go before me (Deuteronomy 31:8).
My dear friends, as you know if you have been following along, our lives have been inundated with trials lately. I come to you with peace in my heart this morning. God moves in the most mysterious ways. I’d like to walk through James chapter 1 with you this morning….
So here’s the deal…it is ok to not be ok. I am not ok…it has been a long, tough year and I do not have it all together. As I search for ways to make this blog thing work for me and my family I keep hitting brick walls and I keep landing in places that paint this picture that everyone has it together…except me!
I am a little sad as I think about the approaching canning season…my garden has been essentially destroyed by the rain and flooding this year. But I am determined to see the blessings and I am hoping those blessings will come in knowing I was able to share some amazing canning recipes that I have come up with over the last several years!
